Members turckster
I had been debating on getting either a Marshall DSL or Jet City 50watter. After reading the many posts on this forum about the Jet City amps and watching some of Fastredponycar's vids(awesome by the way:thu:), I decided -screw it, buyin' the Jet City amp. FedEx dropped it off saturday but I couldn't spend much personal time with it until today. Its a sweet lookin amp, sounds awesome at low volumes as well. Of course, the more volume the better, neighbors are not liking that part. Next thing, I guess, is to change out the tubes.

Members NaturalBornBoy
Congrats! Clips if you can These amps are awesome for the money and the way the Jet City guy carries himself on here is a shining example of how all amp makers should behave
Members bass_n_drums
sweet amp. I'll be waiting for my JCA100H this week. Will be putting it to the test in a band situation.
Members turckster
I think the amp has been available for a couple weeks. I was fiddle farting around on GC's website, noticed they had a few in stock. They have a special price on them all right now, not sure if its a sale or whatever. Members Norton666
Why are you changing the tubes? Jet City uses the same tubes MANY other manufacturers use. There arent anything wrong with them. On occassion there will be a bad tube , but that can be said for any tube company . Theres no reason to replace perfectly good tubes because people on HCAF make you think it HAS to be done to make the amp really shine . If you like the way it sounds , play the {censored} out of it and save your money

Members turckster
The amp has got a little noise in the background, same with guitar cable unplugged. The noise is on both clean and overdrive channels regardless of gain. I'm thinking it could be the tubes. Other than the noise, the amp sounds killer. Why are you changing the tubes? Members Zhorellski
Will it run on pair of 6v6 and probably drop the volume down to half? more saturation than volume is my thang
Members sahlomonic
HNAD! I've stopped by my local Jet City dealer a few times to demo the JCA100 and have been floored every time. As soon as they call me to let me know they have a 50 watter I'm throwin' down for one. Great amps!

Members pioneerprogress
Will it run on pair of 6v6 and probably drop the volume down to half? more saturation than volume is my thang even if there's a way, it probably won't cut the volume as much as you'd like. There's always the JCA20. Again on the volume, wouldn't be half, but step in the right direction....

Members JerEvil
Happy NAD. I am looking into that new 100 watt with the blue lights inside. For some reason I just don't like that blue front panel. Stupid deal breaker especially since I like the sound of the amps.
Members FastRedPonyCar
Will it run on pair of 6v6 and probably drop the volume down to half? more saturation than volume is my thang Put a passive ernie ball volume pedal in the fx loop and be done with it. Works well for mine (and every other amp on the planet)
