Members Murdoch
I can't speak for the So Cal, but I love my San Dimas. Mine has SD's in it instead of DiMarzios, and I prefer that sound. RIDICULOUSLY comfortable neck, but different than any other neck I've played. Takes some adjusting. But when you do, it's effortless. Fantastic tones, too. Members Sheik_Yerbouti
Girly men play San Dimas'. Fixed. REAL men play these: Wanna change from H-H to H-S-S or H-S-H? Just drop in a new pickguard assembly and go!
Members metalhobo
Wanna change from H-H to H-S-S or H-S-H? Each of those pickup three combinations is gay.
Members Sheik_Yerbouti
Each of those pickup three combinations is gay. Beautiful guitar! Unfortunately, having no middle single coil means no position 4 clean goodness, which in turn means FAIL. Still, it's a fine-lookin' axe, though! Members metalhobo
Sorry. I see where you are coming from, but middle pickups get in the way of brutal shredding madness picking and crushing palm-mutes.

Members kanamvar32
What the fuck are you talking about? The only pics in this thread have been CT. That logic would destroy the "Which Country Has the Hottest Women" thread (save for any of Hardtail's posts). 700+ pics of gorgeous women and you'd complain about picture #701? Didn't think so... Members skibob
These guitars any good? What's the difference between the two? Pretty good guitar for hard rock/metal? Yes, they are very good. The difference between them is the SoCal has the strat pickgaurd and Dimarzio pickups, the San Dimas has no pickgaurd, Seymour Duncans and the jack in the edge. I have the San Dimas style 2 (the tele style) and love it, but I'm going to replace the Seymour Duncan JB with a Dimarzio Tone Zone.

Members Captain_howdy
Hmm...I'm prob gonna get one. I've only owned ONE guitar with a Floyd Rose, so I don't really know how to properly set them up.
Members Shask
The necks are wider and flatter than those Viper/EC's you have. They are more like a thinner US Fender neck.
