Members MyNameIsMok...
Steve Morse is probably my favorite. But still,... I can only listen to that stuff for a song or two,.. Then turn it off. That's funny...I could (and have) listen to The Dixie Dregs all day...definitely not wanker music. Beautiful songwriting, playing, and production... Agree on your Brad Paisley statement. Love his tone!!! I really want a Wampler Paisley drive, but I know it will never come close to his OD tone without the Dr Z

But seriously my favorite all time shred is on one album:
Members sfarfsky
There's also that one Russian kid who's an unreal shredder, but I can't recall his name. I hope he ends up putting out some good original music someday. Daniele Gottardo? glJU4wMFvdk

Members madDdog67
Yeah, all the Shrapnel guys from back in the day. I actually busted out a turntable and moved some stuff around so I could access my records...I have a bunch of records from the good old shred days. Of all the non-Yngwie neo classical guys, I think Jason Becker was my favorite. Real shame what happened to that guy, but he's still involved in music, so God bless him. Michael Lee Firkins is another guy I remember from back in those days...different style from a lot of those guys, but a badass nonetheless. Members cscbo1
Does Paisley have an instrumental album Yes, and it's worth every penny. It's called Play. Check it out! Cliffs of Rock City, and Departure are both really good tunes on it.
