What are they having you take for a blood thinner? I have been on three different ones, if you count asprin.

 

You will obviously bleed more - they will probably tell you to get an electric razor, although i did not. You will bruise easier. Maybe alot easier.

 

I dont think I would take cumadin, or how ever it is spelled. I didnt have any issues with plavix. And I still take a 325m asprin every day.

 

I am always more cautious in the cold, as it will thicken your blood. This is why shoveling snow is always associated with causing heart attacks. So I am just more cautious...more aware.....but not paranoid or worried - just aware of the situation.

 

Hang in there, man. Medical advances are happening all the time, and in ten years they will be doing things and fixing things that will make a huge difference. My condition is different, but we are still in the same boat.
