I agree..studio fine but otherwisw adjust to the drummer

 

 

Sure if we are playing live or writing we don't use a metronome. Once we get the parts settled,feel like we are getting sloppy, or we sre getting ready to record...we fire it up.

If the drumer can't play consistent enough without one, time to move on.

 

I think the reason why your drummer looks and is playing so stiff in the Vid is because he's trying too hard to keep locked in with the metrodome, as opposed to just playing with feel.
