Members gorebreath
For my practice and playing today I am focusing on 3 and 5 note patterns as well as the harmonic minor scale. I would like some good old school or old school style thrash songs that are based on the harmonic minor just for the sake of earing out some riffs and solos and some improv over it.Plz no music that contains "core" as part of the genre. Members Rock Hardness
Not thrash but, Yngwie Malmsteen plays more Harmonic Minor licks in one song then most bands play in their entire catalog. Members Nick H
I know metallica had some phrygian (and possibly dorian, I think) on Ride the Lightning and probably others that I havent heard. For harmonic, I would guess Slayer, Im not huge into thrash, so I cant really come up with much else.
