Members drewl Posted December 21, 2012 Author Members Share Posted December 21, 2012 Well they got rid of the plug with the output tranny high voltage on it and soldered the wires directly, but you still have to make sure you reflow the ac input thermistors as the temp cycling causes them to unsolder themselves. Budget amps are cheaply built for sure as we can only expect so much from the slave's wages that the workers get paid, but buyers going in should know that you don't get a Caddy for a Chevy's price... or w/e way you want to say it. I bet that Trirec will sound great and be a plastic parts special.Yes I'd love to put that Trirec up against my Road King for tones... just not buying the first generation.
