Members fretout
I think the tone if a Triple Recto is one of the staples or Rock music, just like the JCM 800 and Mark IIC+. So, based on the features, the name, and most importantly, the signature tone, I would do the trade. I like the immediacy of the ultra-dry VHT/FRYETTE amps because I can play really fast and each note is captured, but I never really liked the way anything besides palm muting sounded. If I had to play leads, I would actually choose the Triple.I guess it just comes down to whether you're getting another "color" for your palette. I would say you are, and if you can live without the d60, go for it. At the very least, you'll be inspired with new gear.

Members Viesczy
I like Mesa Boogie amps, I'd do it as I think that Tri Rec covers a lot of spectrums of music. Those who are against the trade give compelling arguments, but personally I'd do it.Derek
