No problem with the Volume blended just fine with my Blackstar Club 40.
I set him up with the pre-amp around noon and the master at 2'oclock.
He was able to get a decent clean (not fender sparkle clean but decent)
by backing off on the guitar vol. Then when he turned up the amp really
came alive. Running an amp where the pwr tubes are really cooking
is great. Every now and then I still fire up my Hiwatt but after 10
min tops I need to shut it down and rest my head for a few days.
Having a powerful gutsy sound at a reasonable vol level is the best love.gif

I got to try out the JCA2112RC at rehearsal the other night and it was awesome. It matched the JCM900 half stack in volume but it also cut through alot better. I loved it.

Except one of the power amp valves died so I just had to get a new pair of Groove Tubes to put in there. Unfortunately the amp is a pain in the arse to change valves for.

Sorry! Damn it, I hate that. But next time, take the top vent off, and get a chick with small hands to reach in there and do the tube. It's tought to orientate them this way but if she gets it right it's a time saver. Seriously!
