I'm not that great at video games, but i totally beat Super Castlevania IV growing up. Then, like 6 months ago, i dusted it off and tried again. For two solid weeks. COULD. NOT. BEAT IT. i dunno, try it once more and see if your skill has weakened.

A couple years ago I went on a ROM spree and went to town on a bunch of games I hadn't played in a while. Naturally, the Castlevania series is something I always go through when I get an NES/SNES kick, and I went through Castlevania IV with few problems. Castlevania I, though .... that one hands me my ass no matter how adroit I am. Sure, I'll beat it, but I always end up facing Frankenstein without holy water; I'll end up at the Grim Reaper with no cross (or if I have it, I'm lucky to get the double or triple shot that I need); and the hunchbacks and bats in the Clock Tower {censored} my {censored} up in the most inconvenient way possible. I like the free-flowing nature of it and the RPG elements, it sorta reminds me of an 8 bit version of Symphony of the Night, but some parts of it are kinda annoying, like using an oak stake to beat levels rather than actual bosses and the fact that Dracula is SUPER easy to beat. Sorry, but unless I see footage of you beating it otherwise, I call bull{censored}. No offense, bro. No offense, bro. Seriously, the first five levels leading up to Ashtar are pretty easy. Then you have a few more levels and you're at the end of the game. The last part is the damned devil as you have to climb up that {censored}ing tower; and if Jaquio kills you, you start all the way back at the beginning. The good news is that if you kill Jaquio and die to the demon, you start over but you're able to fight the demon again instead of Jaquio if you make it to the boss room ..... that is, until you lose all your lives and have to continue, then you have to deal with Jaquio again. But yeah, if I can get a video going, I'll do it. I'll have to reinstall my emulators and configure since I have a new PC now. Hopefully that will be painless. I was going to try to finish off the 6th book of Wheel of Time tonight, but {censored} it ... I need some NES
