This would probably be easier if you specified how much "cheaper" you are looking.
Members rjoxyz
Given the fact that Larrivee is considered an incredible bargain in its own right, I am not sure there is such an alternative. I have yet to find one.

Members missedmyexit
I hear these are very nice for the money. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Parkwood-PW310M-Dreadnought-Acoustic-Guitar?sku=512550 500 dollars all solid woods. I wish they sold 12 strings.. Looking for a good 12 string but after buying the OMC I have to keep the price tag low or risk the woman beating me with my own guitar. Members rjoxyz
The Parkwoods are good. I have the maple/spruce jumbo. Incredible values. Play some and see what you think. At $600, you are only a couple hundred or so away from Larrivee territory. May be able find a nice used one in your range too. eBay has nearly 40 listed right now in a wide range of bids. Members kwakatak
If you look around you may find a used Larrivee 03 series in the $600 or less price range. One place that I always look at is the Larrivee forum's Marketplace section: http://www.larriveeforum.com/smf/index.php?board=6.
Members EDHGirl
I bought the Parkwood 310M at Guitar Center for $399, including gig bag. It sounds fantastic and an all solid guitar for that price is amazing. It really is worth a look. I went in planning on spending a lot more than that and saved a small fortune when I found this one. Members Hudman
I bought a used Larrivee OM-03 for $600. That included shipping and the hardshell case. It is a 2006 model and it was in mint condition. You can find used 03 series between $500 and $600.

Members guitarist21
Epi Masterbilt's EF-500R sounds a lot like Larri's OM-03R, IMO. Ellen

Members kwakatak
You might want to get a price list from www.notableguitars.com. That's where Hudman got his used OM-03 and where my OM-03R came from. The guy is great to deal with!
