Members Oklo Posted September 5, 2009 Members Share Posted September 5, 2009 I happened to hop on to craigslist this morning and saw a Yamaha FG-180 advertised for $40 with case this morning. I emailed the folks, explained to them that the guitar had kind of a following and told them they could get much more for it. Well...they let me have the git for my admitted low offer of $100, and I'm fixing her up right now. Everything looks in good condition besides the pickguard, which id peeling off a little at the bottom. Sure enough, the red label readds "Nippon Gakki". So cool! Some days you just get lucky! Very kind of you to offer more than they asked. You see that very rarely these days. A friend of mine did that last year when I sold him my Ibanez (threw in some extra cash). Enjoy the guitar!
