Members JIMBO1354
Anyone ever tried one of their acoustics? I may be getting a good deal on one, but don't know much about them. Thanks in advance.
Members DeepEnd
Never heard of them. Google turned up one dealer in the UK: http://www.imuso.co.uk/Acoustic-Guitars/Acoustic-Guitars-by-Manufacturer/Indie-Acoustic-Guitars. If I had to guess I'd say they're made by Cort, which is no shame since Cort is the second largest maker of guitars in the world after Samick and makes a number of well-respected brands. They appear to be laminated with solid tops. The target and Union Jack finishes indicate (to me) that they're made to look cool rather than to sound good. That and I'm no luthier but the "bass and volume response sound holes for increased projection and volume" thing strikes me as a gimmick: http://www.imuso.co.uk/Acoustic-Guitars/14411-/Indie-The-Sound-Jumbo-Acoustic-Guitar. Personally I'd keep looking but that's me. You might be quite happy.
Members garthman
I believe they are made in Indonesia. I've played a couple - well made and sounded OK.
