Members rickjes Posted April 23, 2012 Members Share Posted April 23, 2012 I picked up a Fender F-210 guitar from a friend...nice bassy boomy sound to it...but it has a ping on the high E string...checked tuner it's OK... not hitting any frets when played...string is seated properly..pings on the bone saddle..and the original plastic saddle..I even changed the string twice..it still pings..maybe it's the nut !!! also pings when fretted... bracing is ok...
