Members zac102
I get a rash when ever I play my friends tele or my explorer without a wristband. most guys I've seen playing out with Lp's, tele's, and basically any guitar without a forearm contour wear a wristband to cut down on the chaffing. Members LaXu
Doesn't bother me, but I think the top carve might have to do with it. I used to have a Kramer Stagemaster (sort of like a Jackson Soloist but with an arched top) and the edge on that one bugged me a lot more.

Members Wizard of Ozz
Yes, it also bugged me. Just another reason to play strats.
Members Fade2Black16
I had the same problem when I first got my LP but after a while your arm will round it off at least it did for me. if you want to speed the process you can get one of those green scratchier pad that you wash dishes with and VERY CAREFULLY round off the edge. Members Forbidden
Yep, I've burnt the skin of my arm from strumming it twice, still recovering from the last one which I think may be scarring but who cares ? TONE !!!
Members yabba
I can't get comfy with LPs; the digging-into-the-forearm thing was a big part of that. You don't need to give up and play strats though, there's always SGs! LP without the mud

Members cylon
Sg's are bad ass but it kinda flips foward with the stap located at the heal like that. finding an white hardtail strat is close to impossible >:
