Personally I think guitars only look cool if the wear comes from actual use. Or at least loosk that way.

sandpaper? that's for pussies - I rolled around naked in broken glass and carpet tacks, poured cheap tequila on my wounds, ate 4 packs of Sudafed, and hallucinated I was playing "Live at Leeds" for 3 days straight.

when I woke up, the dog and the guitar were the only things not smoldering or destroyed ;)
