  1. The things that help make a Tele twangy are that the bridge and plate that supports the pickup are the same unit, the fact that two strings per saddle are transferring vibration back through the plate to the rest of the guitar, ferrous metal bridge plate spreads the magnetic field, and the plate on the bottom of the pickup messes with the magnetic field which adds the distinctive percussive "pop/cluck". The way to make it sound twangier is to use a stiffish pick and pick back behind the pickup.
  2. I sure wish they still made the covers for them. My 15r is my go-to rehearsal amp. It's eventually gonna get dinged up being moved around as much as it is. It also sounds good through my Reverend 2x12 cab. I wanna play a small gig with it.
  3. They'd probably have publicity issues with making a guitar with a swastika on the headstock.
  4. The first year Classics actually said Les Paul Model on the head stock and had a Classic truss rod cover. They also had not developed the snot green inlays yet. Those inlays will fade some if they get some sun light.
  5. Seeing as, in the right hands, a Telecaster can do anything, I'll take one of those.
