Members LIMiT
Just ordered mine for delivery (sometime in November)! I heard the TDM version on a friends mix (pretty much on EVERY sub-buss) and it sounds awesome. I've got most of the free-bee anolog sim plugs, but Anolog Channel LE is only $195 US (full price I'm pretty sure). Have any of you tried the TDM version? Do you like it? -LIMiT
Members Kiwiburger
Mmm - McDSP. Do you get any frys with that?
Members Zooey
I've been using the TDM version for years on bass, kick, and drum buss. Rather than reaching for a compressor, I'll try the AC instead. It does a good job at softening transients and giving a real weight to tracks. The key is manipulating the input control to get the degree of squash you want.
Phil O'Keefe
Here's the link. Hmm, when did McDSP start supporting Win XP? I must have missed the memo - and that's one I DEFINITELY wish I had noticed earlier!

Phil O'Keefe
Well, I really like the tape sim that Yamaha put out as an optional "add on effect" for their digital boards. You can read more about it right here.
