Members C-4 Posted November 4, 2005 Members Share Posted November 4, 2005 For single coils, the Danelectro lipstick pickups are the lowest I'm aware of other then really cheap old Japanese pickups from those $29 guitars made back in the 1960's. For hummers, a stock Burstbucker I has the least output that I have found, unless you have a pickup made to specific specs which can be anything you want. I had a Lotus LP Custom copy as my first guitar, and I think the neck pickup was one of these. I'd tap on the cover and it would sound hollow where the covered coil would be.
