Members DenverDave
I've never seen a Tele with that kind of pickup selector switch before. It looks pretty nice though. Japanese Fenders are generally very nice guitars!
Members BootRoots
looks to be a Jap 69 reissue modded to a fat tele with a new switch. Looks hot. and man, thats a crap load f buds for 8 days left.
Members mc5nrg
My educated guess is that is a parts guitar that someone put together.
Members hookstrapped
looks like a 69 Thinline RI -- mahogany body, but with a humbucker replacement of the single coil neck, and a strange looking bridge, like a Bigsby bridge plate. Members ending_zero
I had actually assumed that this guitar was a fake. The emblem looks extremely suspicious.
Members cerebrix
from the looks of that serial number looks kinda fake to me. thats clearly an zero and not the letter o at the start of that serial which right away puts it out of the realm of a real japanese fender doesnt it? Members jjpistols
that model has been sold as Aria and Electra that I know of, probably had a dozen other brands on it, as well - but I would bet my dinner it aint a fender
Members blinz
My vote is that it's a fake. Look at that logo. It looks alot like somebody did some sanding and reworking where that logo is. Look around the edges of the logo. I could be wrong, but it looks fishy to me. Members chiro972
Logo looks fake to me also.
Members CrackerD
I thought it should have a string thru bridge. Not a top load. The decal is a aftermarket waterslide.

Members Save The Pine Weasel
The string trees don't look like anything I've ever seen on a Fender product. In the photo of the back, you can see there's more on the neck plate than he shows in the close up photo.
Members CurtisM
Wow, regardless of whether or not its a real fender, i love that guitar! Id love to have one with that configuration someday.

I've got one labeled Electra sitting here right now - supposed to rewire it so a guy I know can sell it - got the orig bridge pup (I believe) - needs a new neck HB - pretty cool guitar
