Members tiger roach
PRS McCarty, almost any configuration is a possibility: standard, soapbar, hollowbody...But yesterday while indulging my Tele gas I saw a couple Tom Andersons there - holy crap - talk about some beautiful guitars. Extremely costy though - too expensive to even dream about.

Members Treborklow
Any small high quality light weight guitar with three different pickups for a variety of sounds so I would not need to own so many different guitars. My Harmer Artist is a close second. Geat all around guitar but with one great P90 sound.

Members mdog114
I don't think you can pick just one, you need many different guitars to obtain the different sounds we're so familiar with. Strat Tele 2 HBr, maple-capped, set-neck 24.75" scale guitar Acoustic 12 string acoustic Nylon string acoustic 24.75" scale p-90 equipped guitar Dobro Full-hollow body jazz box There's likely more I'm fogetting! Members gadzooka
My #1, gotta-have dream guitar is now in my possession, an ebony-top '57 Reissue Les Paul. I already knew I preferred the HIstoric Les Pauls, just didn't think an ebony top would come my way...picture Next, I'm dreaming of a Hamer Newport with Phatcat pickups and Bigsby vibrato. I still need to actually hear one though...
Members wtfg89
Dream guitar? Meaning if I could have my dream come true? In all honesty....I pretty much have my dream guitar but if I didn't I'd go with a ESP M-II with a maple fretboard.
Members One-armed Alec
Thanks Tosis, I've been looking for an excuse to get this down.My dream guitar would be a Fender Strat, with the following spec (top to bottom):- Vintage-style staggered machine heads- Maple fingerboard- Medium-jumbo frets- C-shape neck (but slightly thicker than the current Am. Standard)- Contoured heel- 2-colour nitro sunburst alder body- 1-ply scratchplate- Vintage bridge/tremolo- Fender delta-tone electrics (switch, pots & wiring)- Some magical pickups that I haven't discovered yet...The problem for me is that this guitar already exists (almost):http://www.fender.com/products/search.php?partno=0117702806 I say 'problem', because its very existence and relative accessibility make me all the sicker for not owning one...
