Members facefirst
No, it's not a Tom Delonge Strat. I had it made 3 years before there was one. It's got an ebony fretboard with a LP scale neck.

You don't need many tonal varieties to be playing his style of music so why bother with it ? I know when I play pop/punk music I use just the bridge pick-up almost 99.9% of the time also

Members facefirst
Thanks for the compliment. No, the cheerleader isn't covering up any holes. Underneath the pickguard is solid wood. I don't think the knob is any closer to the pickup than on a normal Strat. I think on the Delonge production model they moved it down though. As far as Tom Delonge liking single humbucker guitars goes, I have no clue.Originally posted by LPbluesboy wow nice guitar!!!i want a single humbucker guitaris the devil girl cheerleader covering up the other pickup holes?or is it a custom pickguard?why is the volume knob so close to the pickguard?and why does tom delonge like the single humbucker guitar?i have so many questions... Members fuzzy4dice
I bought this because of the color alone when I was like 18. It's not a bad strat-style guitar, but it needs some love. I played it alot and it took quite a bit of abuse. I'd like to get it fixed up sometime.

Members Bruce Bennett
Well, I feel stupid posting this NOW .. after seeing the Driskill. But here it is anyway. I JUST today got my sugar pine strat body back from the painter, and i couldn't be happier with the results. The pickguard is not mounted yet, but i just couldn't resist seeing it with the guard on it. tomorrow I start the shielding process.
