Members lowbrow Posted March 16, 2006 Members Share Posted March 16, 2006 I use one of these:Arkansas stone and a small half round similar to the smaller ones of these:some half rounds Plus a roll of good painters grade masking tape from 3M to mask the fret board. In my experience, guitar shops only really get busy at lucnhtime and weekends, therefore the staff have plenty of time to file down a few dodgy frets, set intonation and action etc. It makes sense in the long run - if the guitar plays nice they're more likely to SELL IT.
