Members jonPhillips
I've read all the specs etc, but I just can't make up my mind whether it's worth splashing the cash to upgrade, or whether I should stick with good old Logic 8. FWIW, I'm running OSX 10.5.8 on a dual 3GHz Quad Core. Can anyone give me some advice to help me make the decision?
Members gdoubleyou
Nothing wrong with 8, but for me bounce in place and flextime made it worthwhile. Amp designer is sweet, drum replacer, also the ability to make a sample instrument from an audio region is nice too. After that not much difference except 64bitness. Members mistersully
i'm still using 8... the only thing i find tempting about 9 is the flex tool
Members ryan7585
Definitely worth it. The amp designer, & flex time are incredibly useful. I do not regret spending the money at ALL
Members Kerouac
Definitely. As others said, Bounce In Place was a big enough selling point right there!

I'm not going to guarantee they will, but I had no issues.
Members Johnny-Boy
Then I won't do it Kerouac, unless you can guarantee it. Yeah, one never knows what's going to happen with new versions. I'd make sure you back-up all your previous work, before loading the new version.
