Members GroovepusherSly
Would that be, "Hitching A Ride" by Jack Reno from the album of the same name, released on Target records in 1972? : Sly

For Boosh: "Oh ma ma!...he got barbwire in his underpants..." Gotta love those old Trojan compilations.
Members Fab Amp
You guys are both right. Vanity Fare was the 45 I had, but I guess they did not write that song. I do not know how to cut a twinky bar in half so you can share your prize. Maybe first one to get to Vancouver can have first pick out which half they want:D Just kidding, no prize, just my thanks. Ok, one more. Back in 72 there was a hit for a while. I remember almost all the words but for the life of me I forget who played this song: "The Wildwood Weed" Ya know, "The wild wood weed grew wild on the farm but we never thought it did no harm. Things got fuzzy and things got blurry, and we never had to leave the barn..." Who played that tune?? Forget google(if you like), this is a memory game for those of us old enough(or young guys with dads/moms old 45 collection or who just like older tunes) to know, but with a bit of grey matter left to remember. Sorta like trivial pursuit for hippies and such:cool:

Does anyone know off hand if Jim Stanfford has a Greatest Hits Album? Did he also do Swamp Witch?
