As you might've guessed from my log in name, I quite like Strats. My suggestions as follows: Functionality: American Deluxe Beauty: American HSS Flame maple. Tone: Eric Johnson (great guitar, but shop around, man, they're all different) Collecting (which, BTW, I don't go in for) Relic. Watch out with the Mexicans, Highways, and even American ones though, because there is a wealth of difference between guitars: don't buy before you've tried. Members GUITARNUTTERUK Posted July 17, 2007 Members Share Posted July 17, 2007 okay here are a couple of my strats, and from what ive seen so far beautiful gits, sensible, youre not gonna like em much but what they hey.i love this one and its still in bits!i was on a bit of a eddie trip at the time and i thought it would be easier to make my strat look like his than my chops sound like his. the red white and black one is now in the process of being swirled, check out my swirl thread if your interested.okay, i saw someone sneek a couple of teles in so heres one i did 4 my mate, swirl that is.HAGO alan. It has Graphtech String Saver saddles now, so imagine the saddles are black and match the pickups and knobs.Not too many Strats running around with that pickguard.
