Members bruto
I voted SG because I like humbuckers for versatility, and the SG is way lighter than a Les Paul. I also like P-90s, so a Casino would be my second choice as the hollow body brings out the bass in P-90s like no solid body can.

Members whit townsend
The best rock and roll guitar I've ever owned was a 61SG/LP with 2 P90s, back in the late 70s.It was the dumbest thing I ever did selling it. At the time I was in an acoustic phase & though I was done with R&R for good.
Members dizzydog
Charvel or Kramer. Period. Your list is bunk.
Members eclipseall
ESP Eclispe is an awsome rock guitar. Les Paul Style without the Gibson Les Paul flaws light weight and really bad quality control.

Members metalheadUK
The best rock guitar for me varies depending on what sort of "rock" I want to play. But my Favourite guitars are Telecasters and Les pauls.
Members Le Blur
really depends on what kinda rock we're talking about you can go for blues rock Or 80's rock and so on all the way to rip your face off rock.
Members Dr. Strangelove
I voted SG For the crunchy sound (either P-90's or humbuckers) For the two horns For the easiest fret accessibility For the lightweight and comfort it provides (even being neck heavy) For the badass look For AC/DC Not convinced? how about these? Cream, Zappa, Black Sabbath, Hendrix, Page (on Stairway)... Anyway it's tied on my 3 choices (SG, LP & Strat)
Members BadCompany89
Probably strats, because they're the jack of all trades.

I had a Stratocaster when I was a teen and thought it was the best. Now I won't even play one. I don't like the vibrato and low output single coils.
