Members sqrnookle
Is it me, or do the f-holes look kinda... tacked on? Maybe it is, but I think they maybe should've looked at a different shape, perhaps.
Members Bubbluz
I know what you mean..I have issues with the look of the Asat semis too.I think it's the body shapes as much as anything else..just not used to an F-hole on a Strat or Tele. The F-holes do look weird on a strat-shape, although I am interested in seing how different they sound than their hollowbody counterparts.

Members DavidMgT
What's the difference between an S-500 and a Legacy? They look identical to my eyes. the s500 has high output MFD pickups as well as a toggle switch that yields additional pickup combinations. The Legacy is essentially a 57 strat with a few modern additions. Although, there are some variations of the Legacy - one with mini humbuckers that i have been curious about. Members Alchemist
wow, I really want an S500 like that!....however I have one concern..... the Fhole is where I rest my forearm... in the summer my arm tends to sweat after extended playing.... getting sweat into the cavity cant be good for the wood
Members goodhonk
what would that do to the sound of the s500?

Members metallica_00
I don't really like the look of the F-holes but if I could order one without the F-holes...I bet it would sound awesome. Never played a semi-hollow Strat before.
