Members Crisco
I'm not asking to start a thread here but just to say that I think the fine people out there in that dark corner of the world are putting out some bleepin' ridiculously great quality guitars over their OEM counterparts. Getting the best built Epiphone from Korea is now a thing of the Past. My LP Plus Top (Quindao Gibson/Epiphone, May 2007)

Just last night I was jammin' on my Black Beauty (January '06 Quingdao) and enjoying it immensely!! Everytime I pick up that guitar I like it more and more!! Seriously!!! Members carmetal
OK, here we go again....2005 EE LP Standard w/ trans-amber birdseye maple top: I've always said that the Korean-made LPs are no longer the king of the hill. The Quingdao-made axes are not only comparable in quality, but the stock pick-ups sound a lot better as well...

Members jeffcoop
Are the Korean built Epi DOT's worth alot more than the Chinese? No. The Dot had a minimum advertised price of $399 in 2004, when it was still being made in Korea; I'd be stunned if the guitars had appreciated in value since then.
