I'm not asking to start a thread here but just to say that I think the fine people out there in that dark corner of the world are putting out some bleepin' ridiculously great quality guitars over their OEM counterparts.

Getting the best built Epiphone from Korea is now a thing of the Past.

Yep. I have several Quindao Epiphones. And I'm EXTREMELY happy with 'em!!

 

Just last night I was jammin' on my Black Beauty (January '06 Quingdao) and enjoying it immensely!!

 

Everytime I pick up that guitar I like it more and more!! Seriously!!!

isn't it Qingdao China aka the factory epi's are built in now? aren't all epi's coming out of there now, are is there more than 1 factory in china?

I've always said that the Korean-made LPs are no longer the king of the hill. The Quingdao-made axes are not only comparable in quality, but the stock pick-ups sound a lot better as well...
