Members Lucky #9
ART SGX 2000 - not so much for recording, but when I want to just practice in the headphones and want to hear some distortion, reverb, or whatever. Still sounds okay for just jamming. One of my favorite pieces of gear.
Members coyote-1
Rhodes MK80. The SAS engine was an early stab at physical modeling. Works well, sounds great in a band mix. The Clav sound in particular was probably the best of its time.
Moderators Lee Knight Posted May 17, 2007 Moderators Share Posted May 17, 2007 Farfisa Combo Organ. When you want a pad but you want it to be noticed and make a statement... nothing beats a Farcheesa. By using the different stops you can get mellow tones too. Plug into a tube guitar amp for maximun vibe. Use the vibrato then analog delay for cool retro chill insanity. So bad it's good. Still good. Got my first back in '80. And though the one I use now isn't mine... it's still very groovy and gets used often enough.
