Members darkone15
i like the dunlop crybaby 535Q, I've been using it for years, with a little tweaking you can get a huge variety of sounds.
Members ShoreCat
You know with all of these signature Wah pedals that have come out over the years, I'm surprised there is no Kirk Hammett wah. Anyway, I put my vote in for the Dunlop Original Crybaby Wah pedal.
Members seven58
Pssh. The Weeping Demon has nightmares about the Silver Machine (posted above). :poke: Nightmares about how bad it sounds... :poke: just kidding, never tried it, so I have no ground to argue. Members whurly
I'm very happy with the standard Vox, but it does need the TB mod.
Members craigSMOOT
Pssh. The Weeping Demon has nightmares about the Silver Machine (posted above). :poke: They're both awfully big & clunky-lookin', though. Kinda reminds me of the gas pedal of a clown car or somethin'. {jk, guys}All kidding aside, I for one wish someone out there could design an ultra-compact wah that didn't take up so much pedalboard real estate.... I would prol' get one of those if my old Thomas organ wha gave out. Seems like a decent all arounder.
Members Senor Cleavage
I loved my Weeping Demon. I sold it but intend to get another one. So, I wish I would've just kept the one I had. duh.
Members ew_
Nowdays it's a Weeping Demon. I've also got a Hendrix Crybaby and a really old Morley, but neither of those get used much anymore. ew
Members Wayne Vinson
The holy trinity of wahs are the Budda, the various RMC/Tesee ones, and the two Fulltone wahs. Personally I use a Fulltone Clyde (not Deluxe)
Members HRM
I have a Vox V847 wah and a "Slash" Crybaby. Both are good, though the Vox could REALLY benefit from a true-bypass mod and the distortion circuit on the Slash is kinda, well, {censored}ty. Members LucianoFigallo
I've tried with the Cry Baby and then the Budda...I've already sold both (because I only can get one sound), now I have the Ibanez Weeping Demon...different from the others I mentioned with an excellent design (I like the footswitch to turn on/off the effect), very good construction and suitable for various uses (with several controls and options on board)
Members MojoFilter
Fulltone Clyde Deluxe is probably my favorite, closely followed by a Keeley-modded Crybaby "Mello" Wah.
Members TimCz
I have the std vox wah (847 or something) - i love it based on its sound, its plug in and go, no knobs to have to stuff around with. Could do with a true bypass mod though.
Members mondaymonkey
Dunlop 535Q Wah.... LOVE its versitility... can make MASSIVE killer sweeps and with the turn of a few knobs have a tight, mellow wah
Members bayliss
I really like the sound of the Wilson Rippah wah. It's modeled after the old Maestro Boomerang. Members Taylor704
Dunlop 105Q Bass Wah funnily enough sounds fantastic with guitar. Give it a try I'm intrigued as to how well it sounds on guitar. I know Omar Rodriguez uses one with The Mars Volta and Dunlop says it only effects the highs and mids, which seems really cool. Any chance you could post some clips?
