Members GuitarHitman
Does anyone here own an Indie guitar or ever played one I'm GASsing for one of their hollow bodies but they have mixed reviews :poke: All of the bad reviews seem to be from a few years ago whilst the newer ones seem to be better as if a customer blew a fuse one day and came and kicked some heads It also had a good write up in a UK magazine this month The guitar in question is this one:
Members 32-20-Blues
I've always thought they look very interesting. What were the main complaints about earlier models?

Members GuitarHitman
So prett much the whole guitar then? Yes I'm just GASsing a semi-hollow with P90s. I may just go down the PRS SE route and save myself a headache
Members snaredrum
i have the indie irk500 rickenbacker copy and it's an amazing guitar. not sure what their new guitars are like in general, but there's a glowing review of the guitar you're looking at in total guitar this month

I will have to win a competition or something
Members Will Chen
Just visited their site. Man, so many guitar companies popping up outside of America (looks like dealers in Canada only). Get those badboys over here!!!!!
Members sqrnookle
My local Australian Guitar Magazine has had reviews of a whole bunch of Indie stuff, and aside from the company's logo - which is either like it or don't - they've gotten totally positive reviews, especially in regards to the pickups. Methinks the current generation of Indie stuff is totally gigworthy. Also - apparently Indie now have 4 factories building nothing but Indie stuff. One for electrics, one for acoustics, one for amps, and one dedicated solely to pickups. I have to say, this is givin' me GAS:

Members sqrnookle
With you on the GAS, man... More, you say? A nice subtle take on the SG: (active pups with coil splits) Their own Indie shape: Their own LP-esque design: And lastly, a PRS-esque blonde:

Members Dann-O
Looks like they copied one of their headstocks from the Wangcaster.
Members samuraiBSD
Really liking these, especially that LP style one. The SG looks more or less the same as the Gibson version
Members riffy
Yeah, I swear, I own like 5 independent guitars! Everyone of them are head strong. I say, play easy man, they play rough. I tell 'em lets get it on now, they decide to lay back... Indie guitars, whatcha gonna do with 'em?
Members GuitarHitman
What to do It's either this or a PRS SE SH Soapbar
Members loganonymous
WOW. Thank you VERY much for posting this. Searching the Indie Guitar website, I fell in love.
Members captainobvious
More, you say? And lastly, a PRS-esque blonde: FYI, I have also been looking at them and I wonder if they use the same Korean build house as Tokai's Korean models... *appears*... I'm not a big fan of the scooping around the pots being visibly darker. I definitely like the color of the blonde better, but the grey hides that much better.
