Members Mr_GoodBomb
I've got a tele that I'm basically removing the switch from the equation of, and turning the tone control into a volume control. 2 pickups, one volume pot for each, and to the jack. Can anyone assist?

Members Mr_GoodBomb
You mean the pickup wire to the switch to the jack? I did this once based off something similar and it came out backwards. Both volumes controlled both pickups. I had to turn wires around.

Just connect the two center lugs of the volume pots, and run one of center lugs to the hot tab on the jack.

Members lowbrow
That should do it except you want to make sure the neck pot is grounded..it's not in your diagram.
Members Mr_GoodBomb
I {censored}ed up somewhere, because it only produces light noise. Maybe I tried the new pot? Time to get some new parts and start over. Ugh.

Members Mr_GoodBomb
Yeah, the jack was wired correctly from before. It gets noise and very, very, VERY light sound. The neck pickup pot seems to control the issue. At either end, it's all noise. With the neck pickup volume in the middle, it produces noise and a tiny bit of sound. Weird.
