Check out my first Gibson! I absolutely love it! She did need an evening with my luthier for a set up and he cleaned up the fret edges for me. Nothing major, I do that with all new guitars anyway. She also has a three piece back which is very hard to see unless you check out her booty! Nice job matching. Wish the headstock wings would have been better matched, but I cant take my eyes off the neck to even notice!

I got a honeyburst on Friday. Lovely guitar. I am a sucker for satin finishes. Plays and sounds killer.

Of course she is. Just like cars and ships. Certainly not a he.

                    OP: Congrats!

Nice!!! I have a goldtop 50s tribute and I love it. Mine came with some rough fret edges like yours but it's not a big deal. I keep meaning to go buy some needle files to smooth them out but it's such a minor thing I keep forgetting. Other than that it's perfect!!! Gibson did a good job with the 50s and 60s tributes.

Wow! That is the most gorgeous of the 50's and 60's Godtop Tributes I have seen. I love the flamed mahogany neck; I've only seen that on one other ever before.

                        woo hoo!

                              Nice

I have a 50's Tribute an I think it is great. I think the Goldtop is the best looking guitar out there.
