Members vintage clubber
bad cell phone pics... Out of the box - very nice! I already ordered parts for upgrading, other than pickups: Wilkinson 5 +1 Steel Block strat trem, mint green pickguard with body mount for neck pup, electro socket, 4 way switch, etc.
Members BG76
What I would do is get a Tele bridge, cut it and make a new base plate for that trem out of it. It would be a fun project.

No, I would probably take a three saddle tele bridge, make 6 barrel saddles for it, cut it short and use it for a plate. It would just be fun to do is all I'm saying. Members WKG
Looks good! I wonder if the Tremking TK2 would fit on that, maybe a bit of routing in the spring cavity...? http://www.tremking.com/prod2.html

I'm putting the same trem in the SX that I used in this one:

Members honeyiscool
If my opinion means anything to you, use the Fender MIM big block steel tremolo, the import spacing one. Cheap, good, reliable.

They're great flush or floated, they have a nice big block, and it's not so grossly oversized, which is a good thing with thinner guitars like the Chinese Squier I was fixing up. Plus they say Fender on the saddles, which is cute.

The Wilkinson 5 + 1's I get have a steel block and the mounting screw holes are elongated to accomodate most predrilled bodies with no further alteration to the body. Members McCain
couldn't you swap out six barrel saddles for the existing strat type saddles? :poke: The 6 barrel probably wouldn't work 'cause they're off-set but you could drill 3 new holes between the E/A D/G B/e and use the 3 barrel. That might look cool. Pic's if you do.
