Members MattACaster
I'd actually buy one of those. I bet that fret board feels weird though. Probably a lot like that ebonol stuff on that one Squier Jazz bass.

That thing was making me play runs that I would have never thought of on my own.
Members Detonator
man I've been saying for years that this should be done. They've been making them for almost 15 years now, I remember seeing them in all the guitar magazines back when I was in middle school. I really wanted one back then. The one I played last night was fine. The dude has had it for about 5 or 6 years and said he hasn't had any problems with it. Was it an AMAZING feeling guitar? No. But the whole point of it is to teach your fingers the notes of scales, learn new chords etc.

Playing with this guitar live would be total and utter n00bism. That's not its intended purpose.
Members jaytee123
They've been making them for almost 15 years now, I remember seeing them in all the guitar magazines back when I was in middle school. I really wanted one back then. More than 15 years. They came out in the 80s, disappeared, and came back. There were knobs on the guitar to select keys and chords, and the LEDs would light up. Members TU BE
In that case that is EXACTLY what I would do with one! For that reason alone!! You sir...are fucking MeTaL!!! Actually, the only ones who would know what the lights were for would be other guitarists. I was with my drummer last night and he kept asking what the lights meant. The average show goer would just think it was a cool stage effect.
