I thought I was sick of Rock. Most new Rock I hear is just boring to me.

But ... I'm really liking this Incubus tune right now. I even like the video. Wow.

Its sad, but music is all about marketing. You could have a great artist or band and they can't get signed because the record companies need a goddam demographic before they put any money behind you.

 

Rock/Metal is the only "real music" left you can still hear on more than 2 radio stations in any market in the US.

 

I don't know any musicians that can stand rap/hip-hop bull{censored}

 

Good music is so hidden from the mainstream it appears to be dead.....ugh

Woah, hold on there. There's almost no rap and not much hip-hop I like but if you don't know any musicians who do then you're not looking very hard.

I totally agree. These guys are great. Very exploratory, totally accessible yet still really creative. And very rock. I'm with you. One of the few who are actually doing something with this style. Devoid of bull{censored}.
