Members UstadKhanAli
I am driving to the outer reaches of Corona tomorrow to have StageGear make a carpeted door rack for me (at last!! Thanks, GearMike!!). And as it turns out, the Fender Center and Museum is just around the corner. Cool. I'm strongly considering going there. Anyone been? Worth bringing my camera? http://www.fendermuseum.com/ On July 13th, 2002 the Fender Center carved a place for itself in music history with the official opening of its brand new 33,000 square foot building in Corona, CA. The museum and education facility houses Kids Rock Free
Phil O'Keefe
Yes, I've been over there a few times. A friend of mine (posts on my forum occasionally under the name "Witesole" is the head AE at the studio over at The Fender Center. Nice place to do a gig too. I think you'd enjoy seeing it Ken. And if you have some time afterwards (and depending on what time my session is tomorrow) you're welcome to come by and hang for a while.

Members UstadKhanAli
Ah, darn, I don't think I have time to hang out for a while. Too bad. Maybe after I get back from WV. Even this Fender Museum trip is going to have to be quick, probably an hour or so. Thanks!
Phil O'Keefe
Maybe next time Ken. But keep 9/22 open if you can.

Members UstadKhanAli
The Fender Museum has a Johnny Cash exhibit in addition to a bunch of guitars used by the Steve Miller Band, surf movies, Kurt Cobain, etc. etc. and an old Ampex tape machine. Cool. And as a major bonus, it had air conditioning. Damn, it's hot today!!! If you're in the neighborhood, it's definitely worth poking your nose in. Members triton76
I enjoyed my visit to the Fender museum. Gives you some history and has lots of one of a kind instruments too. They asked me not to take pictures though. Bought a cool T shirt but I don't play any Fenders anymore
