Yeah it seems like pirated software for Apple is much tougher to come by..for obvious reasons Well I went over to Circuit City yesterday for the Macbook and it turns out they don't even carry them in the stores. So the clerk(High school dope) goes "So why do you want an Apple?" I informed him I am going to be recording on it He then says "Well you should get a Windows laptop" I then told him that every computer in his store comes with Vista and wasn't compatible with the recording software So he then tells me "Well if you get an Apple you wont be able to do things like burn cds on it, there really no software for it" I just laughed and said "Oh really, thats alright I'm going to record on it...im not going to do anything else" These are the type of salespeople they have working in the computer section. I'm afraid that those kind of people work everywhere. Intelligence or knowledge of the product(s) being sold isn't required for employment unfortunately.

Okay, I have a question. I understand the whole having two hard drives concept, but do you want to install the recording software on the same hard drive as the OS or install the software on the same drive that you'll be saving the tracks to?
