When the ONLY cover Slayer did in their prime was a priest cover, that speaks volumes. Selloutica is a fair nominee. Megadave is pretty good too. I would throw Dio into the mix. I saw him this summer and didn't know whether to headbang my ass off or point at him and double over laughing. Ronnie's words and I quote... But also as in huge over-inflated egos combined with ridiculous sense of self-importance and presenting the band as "epic" and "groundbreaking", presenting yourself as legendary, when the truth is the band was nothing of the kind and thinking you are the best of the best in your genre...and talking about your band like you are royalty...etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
