Members Ma Suk Dong
2000, 3000, 4000 or 5000 dollars for two pieces of carved wood glued together with some paint and metal strings attached? Too much. What say ye?

Members BlackCat
There's no way that any hand crafted short-run item can be sold as cheaply as it's mass-produced counterpart. Edit: Sorry for feeding the troll.
Members hecticone
I didn't think so when I bought my Anderson. But then after a week of playing it and listening to its nuances and how well it played, definitely. If you just pick one up your going to go whats so special about this. But well made guitars are something special. Members Guitarnewbie
Yes! And why limit it to custom-made guitars? EVERYTHING is overpriced...
Members Ma Suk Dong
Are you really in North Korea? Yeah and there is only one computer in the whole country, which is a 486 we got from the Russians in a cultural exchange some years ago. I paid 2950 American dollars for my custom-made Jackson. Much too much. 1450 USD would have been a fairer price.

Members Ma Suk Dong
You pay for skilled labor, time and unique attributes. And for artist endorsements perhaps? After giving away 10 free guitars per year to every endorsed artist on their roster, custom guitar makers have to get their money back from the ordinary Joe Blows who have to pay 3000 or 4000 $ if they want something custom-made. Members axegrinder
They aren't over-priced. They do cost too much to build though. That's why I want to get to a point where I can build as many as I want. I worry less about wasting my time than my money.
