Members scolfax
I have a volume box for mine. It does the job, but I've stopped using it just because of the hassle factor I guess. I will probably just install an audio pot soon.

I'm not sure if you're familiar with the HRD, but if you move the volume knob 1/10th of a millimeter you go from dead quiet to way too loud, like 80% of the volume of the amp at 3 out of 10.. So what you say is true, but the problem is having useful control of the volume. These volume boxes give you one big knob that gives you closer to 50% of the volume of the amp at 5 out of 10. Members tlbonehead
I'm curious, what is the reason why? Depends on your problem. If it is the overly jumpy volume knob, then absolutely. If not, then you should know that they won't be of any real help.
