Members entko
I have a Jim Dunlop acoustic capo (http://www.musicstreet.co.uk/dunlop-trigger-acoustic-capo-black-p-2317.html) and I was wondering if I could use it for my electric guitar without causing problems? Members Alchemist
capo is a capo is a capo...which also happens to be a capo theres no difference at all, you're in the clear actually acoustic capos typically have a flatter radius and electric ones have more curvature..... depending on how much pressure there is, an acoustic one may not be ideal for a small radius fretboard.... probably wont make a big difference on most guitars, but on some you may have uneven pressure I have a kayzer I use for acoustics and a dunlop trigger for electric... both work fine

Members Mike Fiasco
I just have a friend hold a finger across the fretboard while I play. Friends are cheaper than capos. My friends, at least.
