Kenny was an acclaimed writer/guitarist whose career I had only really followed in the middle 1970's. But he had a unique, clean vocal style, whose music did touch me when I was a fan. Kenny apparently died of lung cancer yesterday.

RIP and enjoy the rewards you built this go around,

A serious loss.

A unique voice. A stunning songwriter.

"Sweet meat of the catfish, with some lovin sauce. My favorite dish, I love you, woah girl I love what you're gonna do."

WTF with all these people dying of lung cancer when they don't smoke?

He smoked three packs a cigarettes every night he played a gig in a bar, whether he knew it or not. Considering how many years he played, he smoked a lot of cigarettes. The same thing goes for many of us that have gigged a lot.
