Members Made of Cones
I'm going to buy a CV Tele this week but I don't plan on making it look like the world's fattest man's arm sweat ate away at it for four decades.
Members benecol
Lawsuit era Cimar; when I stripped the old black paint off, I discovered it has a two-piece mahogany body. Original string-thru/toploader bridge (currently set up string through, but I love it as a toploader too), GFS Memphis in the neck, GFS overwound 60's in the bridge. I should point out, I'm not usually a fan of overwound pickups, I chose this one to give it half a chance to keep up with the neck humbucker, but this one's great - loads of clarity and definition. EDIT: sorry it's so big - I've tried to edit it down - any code I can use? ANOTHER EDIT: found a smaller picture. Forgive my ineptitude.

Members A-20
The important thing here is that you kept the factory "classic vibe" sticker on the pickguard. That is going to really help with resale. You can advertise it as 80% factory new.

Unless you look at the Jim Root sig white Tele that uses black HW, i'd say silver is the most common HW colour on a white model http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=white+telecaster&btnG=Search+Images&gbv=2&aq=f&oq= http://images.google.com/images?gbv=2&hl=en&sa=1&q=jim+root+telecaster&btnG=Search+images&aq=f&oq= - Jim Root sig
