Members fretmonster
Thanks Bubluz, I'll have to check that one out. Healey was an awesome player and performer and should have lived a lot longer and had a bigger impact IMO. I can't believe how good the new New York Dolls CD "Cause I sez so" is. Been listening to it in my car every day for a week:love: http://www.myspace.com/newyorkdolls
Members billybilly
Jeff was underrated and talented. However, I hate when people release music that the artist may never have. I saw him in Vancouver BC and he was really getting into his music, jumping up and down on the stage and whatnot, then he fell off the stage. The audience went silent as the roadies helped him back on stage. It was one of the most tragic yet funny things I have ever seen.

Members TheBlueStrat
I never understood how you could play the guitar blind, in the unorthodox way he did, and still kick ass. He left us too soon.
Members nuke_diver
I'm ok with this "Songs from the Road is the way we all want to remember him:Smiling, laughing and playing and singing from his heart." Every fan of JH' prol' already knows his thoughts on the music "biz" so it's good to know things are on the "up & up" so to speak. Members Crisco
I saw Jeff Healey in Halifax Novascotia in 1987. It was in a little downstairs bar near the shipyards. This was about a year before he took off.All the guys from Supply were saying "Hey, it's the blind guy from Halifax!"And...the way he played that guitar, how could anyone forget that?He was purely amazing. Members RobQ
This record is a collection from live recordings with Jeff's road band, that were made in preparation for the previous release, Mess of Blues (which Jeff personally authorized in the months leading up to his death.) It is tastefully done and beautifully produced. Also includes a wicked jam with Randy Bachman.
Members akapuli
I saw him in the mid-90s, impressive concert, ridicoulosly good tone. One of the best guitar tone I heard live.
