Members Electric Monk
I'm using the Labor Day sale as an excuse to set myself back $600 and foward one guitar. I've played several PRS's in the past, and generally loved them, especially the necks. I've yet to play a SE for an extended period of time, though - what's the consensus on the singlecuts? I'm pretty sure I'd rather get a single cut than a Custom 22. But, again, I'm not totally sure, I just want to know what people think of the korean SE line. Members buckethead99
IMO they are easily a cut above Fender MIM Strats.I just got one with a Tremolo and they are very well made,Lots of attention given to the frets and that. I paid around 360.00 for mine at MF. I think you will be happy if its as good as mine.
Members Selsaral
Mine is 8.4 lbs and with a normal strap it's slightly heavy. I dunno if that will bother you. It bothers me slightly but I still play it a ton. I should probably get the proper strap for it. It has a mega beefy sound.
Members MichaelSaulnier
The necks are the high point for these guitars... If you like "PRS" necks and have played these you probably know it. They're well designed, seem solidly built, and a very good value... especially when on sale! I played a P-90 that was VERY nice. Members Electric Monk
I kinda like a guitar to have some heft to it, so that's good. I'm both excited and nervous that I'm actually gonna blow that much money, but then again, I won't regret it either.
Members MichaelSaulnier
With the labor day sale prices... aren't you close to getting TWO of them for that amount of $'s? M
Members Electric Monk
I wasn't aware they were marked down that much. Now I'm pretty much doomed.

Members Phade21
I have one, but am selling it. My Edwards LP Custom just has a much thicker, resonant body with a fatter sound (and that's with $200 dollar hand-wound pickups in the PRS)...I also prefer the feel of it over the SE. I only paid $400 bucks for the PRS though. It doesn't stay it tune very well and the electronics and pickups should be swapped if you're serious about getting the most out of it. Members cbh5150
The one I have now was bought used and beat up, and I got it for just over $300. It gets more play time than the other guitar in my sig. Get one NOW at a discount. You will not look back.
Members jrockbridge
I believe MF still has an extra % off if you call the order in on the phone and say, "workers."
Members BeanoBoy
I got the Se Singlecut Soapbar, swapped out the pups to Lollars. Love this guitar. No frills, stays in tune, tone machine. Definitely worth the money.
Members Celik
I played through one the best part was the neck. The guitar sounded owfully bad, so i think a set of pickups would be required right of the bat. At any rate for the price its not bad if you thinking of moding it up a little. Yeah, the neck was the best part for me. The thin body doesn't have much resonance...overall I thought the guitar would be ok, if you swap the pickups and were to use primarily for rhythm playing...for leads it sounded a bit thin, even after putting expensive, hot PAF's in there.
