Members Caleb Knockin
Nick Valensi Riviera: (tried to buy it earlier, but financing was denied. Now I'm going to buy it straight up) vs. Edwards Les Paul Custom: You could argue they're totally different. P-94 pickups and a hollowbody vs. a solidbody with humbuckers. Consider that I'm playing this kind of music: Halp. I promise I won't bother you about this issue no mo.

Members Large
The Edwards looks and plays awesome, but for the kind of music you linked, I'd go with the Epiphone.

Members Caleb Knockin
The problem I'm most worried about is whether the Epiphone will be able to handle the distortion without bitching back at me too much. I can handle feedback, but if merely letting loose of the strings is going to cause some damage to the audience's eardrums, then I'd rather go with the safe choice. I don't use so much distortion that you can't tell what I'm playing, but I use a pretty high amount of overdrive... not quite into "distortion" territory I suppose. I dunno... roll with that.
