Members Polaris20
This probably has already been covered here, but the search turns up jack. So.....does a Warmoth strat neck fit a mexican-made Fender strat? Are there variances between years? I want to pick up a used Roland-ready Mexi strat off of Fleabay, throw some EMG SA-X's in it, and get a 50% scalloped, maple-boards, Wizard profile strat neck with a reverse strat headstock. Members Dead Skunk
I put a warmoth conversion neck on an '06 Mexi strat. It fit perfectly.
Members ashtray
Usually they fit fine... but not all Fender Strat neck pockets are created equally. I've had some fit perfect, others fit tight, and others not quite fit without some sanding. Overall though, they usually fit.
Members Polaris20
Thanks guys; I have a good tech that could muck with it if it's not 100%, just as long as long as it's not too crazy as far as gaps. Sounds like it's a promising project then!
Members Doctor Morbius
It should fit onto a newer MIM body without a hitch.
