Members Woody_in_MN
I just bought an OLP Axis from a forumite. I suppose I should find out what I bought. It is orange burst and resembles a Ernie Ball Music Man. What is the history on this guitar? Did Ernie Ball license OLP to build these guitars? OLP is out of business now - right? - W

Members alan1302
I think OLP used to make them under licence from Music Man (Ernie Balls) but now Muisc Man make them under their own brand Sterling. And a very nice guitar they look too! Alan

Members ChrisGansz
I had a purple burst with a traditional vibrato - nice pickups and neck - traded it for something else though and should have kept it. HeatherAnnePeel has a couple of 'em too!

Members Woody_in_MN
^^^ Thank you. I think it had an OLP logo - but the previous owner did not like it and sanded it off. "And that's...OK" - w
Members jmgruber
I think OLP stands for officially licensed product. If one ever comes for sale near me, I would like to take it for a spin.
